Educational Programmes for the International Exhibition Industry

 

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - this is a dictum of Nelson Mandela, first democratically elected of South Africa and Nobel Price lauriate. The international community of the exhibition and event services industry, gathering for its IFES AGM in Oxford, UK at the end of June, discussed opportunities to strengthen educational programmes by integrating more service content.

           

ITA founder and coordinator Hermann Kresse introduced the exisiting programmes of UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), the US-based IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events) and of ITA, the International TradeFair Academy to the around 70 delegates from 23 countries.

IFES International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services and ITA agreed to cooperate closer in the future including ITA's involvement in the frame of the coming IFES AGMs in Moscow, Russia in 2012 as well as in Cape Town, South Africa in 2013.
