Background: 

John Mikstay has been Manager of the Events Audit Division of BPA Worldwide since August 2005. His previous 10 + years’ experience in the tradeshow industry working in sales, sales management and show management has provided him the vital experience essential for presenting the value of independent, third-party event audits to domestic and global tradeshow organizers and brand marketers.

Liaison to 2006-07 ISO Event Terminology Standards initiative; CEM designation in December 2008; serves on Canadian Event Audit Advisory Council;  2009 IAEE Krakoff Future Leaders Alum, CEIR research Committee member; serves on the TSEA Advocacy Committee; and was selected to the 2010 IAEE BOD as an ex-officio member in the Future Leaders Institute Robert Krakoff Memorial Seat. Speaks at both domestic and international events and performs staff training and industry education.
